The Help Smile Trust (www.helpsmiletrust.co.uk/) was the chosen charity for the year 2017-2018 by MyFaceMyBody Awards. This award was presented by Aesthetic Medicine, a business-to-business magazine for discerning aesthetic professionals (www.globalaestheticawards.com/uk/charity/). The award ceremony was hosted at the Aesthetic Medicine Live conference and exhibition on 17th March, 2018 at the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington.
The award ceremony was chaired by Mr. Stephen Handisides. At the beginning of the evening, Stephen announced an exciting news about the MyFaceMyBody’s main committee selecting “The Help Smile Trust” as the chosen charity.
The Help Smile Trust was co-founded by plastic surgeon Mr. Shailesh Vadodaria to provide reconstructive surgery to people in need of help in developing countries, including post-burn contractures, facial deformities and open wounds after traffic accidents and help with cleft lip and palate children and so on.
On the stage, Mr. Shailesh Vadodaria said: “I’m not alone on the stage today. There are very many people in the world helping me, my wife, my friends, my working partners, and outstanding doctors and nurses of different countries. Without them, I couldn’t complete this charity. I believe more and more people will join this cause.”

Help Smile trust is pleased that this appeal indeed helped to raise £2000 during the award function. Help Smile Trust would like to thank Mr. Stephen Handisides and Ms. Rachel Houlbrook (MyFaceMyBody award) and Ms. Vicky Eldridge, Olivia McLoughlin, Chloe Skilton and Mr. Danny Large (Aesthetic Medicine) for their continuous support and all their efforts.
